Breast discharge

I had a clear or amber color breast discharge (upon expression/squeezing) for a year. In November, it turned color and tested for blood. Breast specialist said there's a small lump associated with duct with discharge. Biopsy is surgery and taking out whole duct. I really don't want to do that. Any suggestions? I've been trying acupuncture/herbs and Breast Protect oil with essential oils acupuncturist added for six weeks now but breast hasn't changed. Scared it could be cancer or something else. There is pain associated too and now the pain seems to be in other parts. Breast seems swollen in other parts too.

For the most part, I eat a whole foods diet. No sugar except fruit and sometimes Larabars and not much flour except pizza sometimes. I also eat potatoe chips once in awhile. But for the most part, all whole foods and well balanced diet.

Any feedback, recommendations, etc. would be so helpful. The acupuncturist I'm seeing said that they would never needle the breast as it's a main meridian (not to mention a knife going in there to biopsy it). Also have read a lot about how a knife/surgery can aggravate things.
