Can you take apple cider vinegar? I had a bladder infection recently and had lots of burning and frequent peeing, and didn't want to take an antibiotic either, so I took an ounce of ac vinegar with a couple ounces of water ever hour for two days. It cleared it right up. It is a great antibacterial agent, may just do the trick for you. Make sure you get the kind with the "mother" in it. It will say that on the bottle. Hain is a good kind, and doesn't cost much. Hope it helps.
