The early child conditioning regarding archetypal figures may be one of the few things that can take more than the "seven year cycle" to clear from one's psyche. I think that is the case with regards to "the father of our country". The image of Washington is undoubtedly permanently imprinted in the subconscious of virtually every American (at least that of all who attended public elementary school). Along with the image comes the myths that have stood stalwart (like Mount Rushmore) for 215 years. "The first biography of the first president is the largely fictional work by Parson Mason Locke Weems, The Life of George Washington, with Curious Anecdotes Equally Honorable to Himself and Exemplary to His Young Countrymen (1800)":
Posted a comment at an astrological site regarding the "character" of George Washington.:
As a student of the Organic Laws (with the Organic Laws Institute):
I find this subject matter of a natal chart for George Washington most interesting and all the more so since last night when I discovered that his Destiny/Birth Card is the Ace of Spades (based on a February 11th birthday). The Nine of Spades Birth Card for February 22nd is not lost here as the Uranus card under the Ace is the Nine of Spades!
Secrecy has to be one of the major keywords in understanding Washington and the Ace of Spades gives the masterful representation of that!
Also from a perspective of "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration" by Weston A. Price the "lifelong dental problems" holds some interest for me as well. However I don't expect t see much more on that here.:
But do add to the character case-study if at all possible!
Nevertheless the shroud of secrecy (that I am confident has surrounded Washington) has lifted for me most significantly by way of my studies with the Organic Laws Institute (OLI). There are a number of veils that surround Washington the first of which concerns the Constitution "of the United States of America -1787". It might take a student some time to fully grok the findings of OLI professor: Dr. Ed Rivera the full understanding of which will inevitably crack the mythic image of "I can not tell a lie"! The gravity of that crack will have no choice but continue finding its way through the remainder of the myth and eventually shatter it. Will this shattering destroy what America stands for? Not in the least! What is real is not threatened!
Continuing with my research:
'At the time of Washington's birth, the Old Style, or Julian, calendar was in effect, making his birth date 11 February 1731. Twenty years later, Britain and the colonies adopted the New Style, or Gregorian, calendar, which entailed a forward shift in dates by eleven days; hence the traditional date for Washington's birthday: 22 February 1732. Because the Julian calendar marked the new year on 25 March rather than 1 January, it may seem that the Old Style and New Style versions of Washington's birth date are a year apart. In order to forestall that mistaken impression, the Old Style day and month are given with the New Style year.':
I was originally inspired to write this blog after reading "Washington - The Man and the Myth" (in "That's Not In My American History Book" by Thomas Ayres and then especially after reading that "Washington was born on February 11th ... when the Julian calendar was still in use." The Destiny Card for February 11th is the Ace of Spades. It is this Ace that then lit a flame in me to research the natal activations for Washington and use that reading as the basis for a new study.
