After eating a mango, they have intense itching sensation around the mouth and on the lips. Their tongues or lips will eventually swell. In addition, they suffer from some of the following symptoms:
Small blisters appear around the mouth.
The skin becomes red and inflamed around the mouth.
Burning and tingling sensation on the tongue.
Dry eye.
Throat irritation
This condition is medically known as urushiol-induced contact dermatitis. Urushiol is an oily organic allergen commonly found in mango, poison ivy and poison sumac. The most logical way to alleivate urushiol-induced contact dermatitis is obviously to attack urushiol by chemical means.
Apple Cider Vinegar will work!
Before rushing to buy any expensive products such as Z***, Ivy O**, one may consider if the bottle of apple cider vinegar from the kitchen has any vinegar left. This method is little known and rarely investigated. But boron is known to react with urushiol! Apple Cider Vinegar has at least worked for me and for those who did listen to me.
Many websites propose the use of soaps. Soaps will NOT work, according to my experiment. Those who still propose the use of ordinary soaps are just wasting the readers' time.
