Day Two of my Spiritual Fast

Today I woke up and had a lemon in some water. Before I left to walk to Walmart, I had some more lemon with a bit of molasses for strength. That worked and I was able to walk to Walmart which is about a mile and a half from my house. I bought a bag of fruits and vegetables ($3.54) and bought a pack of paring knives from Walmart because I really needed a grapefruit. The grapefruit juice held me on the way back from Walmart. I was really tempted to take the bus but something within me said NO you can make it. My legs got a little stiff so I stopped and did some stretching and was able to make it home.

It seems as if fasting was the missing 'piece'. I was listening to a hypnosis tape till a telemarketer called :-) Now I just finished my apple-cucumber juice, I'm going to listen to music and read something from the bible and check out the lectionary readings. I've not done my five rites yet but I will just before my shower. I am off to Mr.Eugene's today and that's going to be a challenge. Maybe not. I'm so used to having my cup of coffee and some cookies over there. I'll be juicing some green drinks to take with them. Cucumer and whatever else.
