I don't know about your case, but in my case I'm hoping it's the liver because if it's not, I'm in big trouble. I wasted 4 years trying to improve my "IBS -diarrhea" only to get worse and worse then chronic fatigue to the point that it was almost too late to do anything to help myself recover. But as I could then no longer digest protein or tolerate fats at all, the fat intolerance became a big clue for me, along with meeting another Curezone person who had high tight pain in the exact same spot as I did. If 'they' dont know what is wrong with you and you have that catch all 'IBS' (which is really a lack of diagnosis), then I encourage you to keep looking before it is too late.
There is an interesting list at helpforibs.com that lists other things to rule out. One of them is gallbladder and one of them is parasites. One doc I went to finally mentioned 'bile' which also put me on the liver track. In my case, there are other liver indicators I had before my stomach went south: scalloped tongue, multiple chemical sensitivity, shoulder blade area pain, shoulder -neck weird inability to recover from whiplash. Then I saw an old Adreas Moritz post about lack of bile flow = lack of peristalsis. My Dad's whole body was taken over by yeast when he lost peristalsis. I'm sure we both had/have parasites. I think I saw tapeworm parts in February but I didn't know about liver flushing afterwards. If you are a female, you should know that sometimes a person's "gas and bloating" may turn out to be ovarian cancer (by then advanced) as in the case of my last best friend.
Andreas Moritz liver flushing book had the best health description I have EVER read (last 20 years of reading to try to get better) about how the liver is so vital to the functioning of everything else. I'm still waiting until I can get flushing but I sure hope it's going to finally be the answer for me. Good luck - WSW
