i had mirena removed march 31st. i have bled or spotted everyday. it is time for my "period" according to my BC pills. i am dying to start. i feel so bloated. i feel like poison is going through my body and i would feel so much better if it would just start. it is funny wanting to start when that is why i got mirena in the first place....to have little or no period. i have written many times about the effects on my hair. it seems better! i don't think i am losing as much now. so maybe my hormones are starting to go back to normal. i bought biotin yesterday. i read that it is good for your hair and nails. has anyone tried it??

on my first period i thought i was bleeding to death and too stupid to know it!!!! i had about 2 days i soaked the extra long,heavy day pads about every 45 min to an hour. on my second period it was about two days i did the same thing. i got so flu like sick on my second one. it could have been the flu though but nobody in my house got it. i did not have any pain though.

I am 6 weeks post-removal and I started my period Monday night and it is extremely heavy!!!!! I had some spotting after the removal but it stopped after about a week. I haven't had a period since Oct 2004 because I went from Depo to Mirena. Funny thing though, when I had Mirena in me I knew I wanted to have a baby again so that is why I took it out but since it is out the feelings to have another baby has completely disappeared. It was like a dark cloud removed it self from over me. Maybe it was gas and it passed :) or it could be the hormones as I am reading more and more about. I liked Mirena and would have recommended it to my friends but my attitude has changed since it was taken out. Again, I feel I can see clearly now. I hope the bleeding and the back pain doesn't last forever. I do know one thing I am glad to see "my girlfriend" again!!

i saw fistula on tv last night, its when the walls leak out though the vagina. i feel like that quack in the photo dr todd m beste may have damaged my bladder by trying to remove the mirena. i'm spotting like there is a hole somewhere that just will not heal. my hormones are crazy its seems like im going to have a period then there is nothing at all, i mostly just see blood clots.

maybe we should look up all kinds of fistula. what could be bleeding so much? i so mad about all the new information thats being printed daily about mirena. i'm not longer shocked just mad as hell.
