Hi,
Just an idea... numbness in your mouth and throat could be related to something entering those passages. Food, drink, or air? Have you tried a humidifier, or just breathing in some mist from near-boiling water.
How is the air quality in terms of emissions or particulates? Toxins or allergens in the air could affect your eyes, mouth and throat too.
You could also try eliminating certain types of food
additives and chemical ingredients for a week each and see if that helps.
IMO, I'd suggest an alternative doctor, as opposed to a traditionally trained medical doctor. Coming from a family with a long varied experience with traditional doctors, they are often not the best source of info or advice. Of course there are some really good ones, but a holistic doctor is more trained in creating health... rather than a traditional doctor being trained in disease and illness reduction.
