Gad, you've left all the meanest parasites and they are fighting for their life. I wouldn't cut off the Diflucan. Try taking Thayer's Slipery Elm tablets to soothe the stomach and carry on! God bless you and heal you!

You are possibly in an immune system activated state. Means your body was able to suddenly recognize something that has been building up in your system for some time. If your body wins, you will be rid of the enemy within. Otherwise, you will eventually find balance with offender, and stabilise.

You should be monitored by a physician. Plus, there is the possibility you have something entirely unrelated like a flu.

Maybe you developed an allergy to what you were taking or it created an environment that is too toxic for your liver to handle all at once. I think you should listen to what your body tells you.

Diflucan made matters worse in my case.

SIDE EFFECTS: Common side effects include headache, nausea, and abdominal pain. Other side effects included diarrhea, dyspepsia, dizziness, rash, and taste disturbance. Rarely, serious allergic reactions, including angioedema (swelling of tissues), may also occur. Liver dysfunction (jaundice, hepatitis) has also been associated with fluconazole.

I didn't have diarrhea and nausea. Instead it was angioedema and liver dysfunction, jaundice. There was no effect on the candida. Just left my body in a weaker state. The CS(homemade), along with other things worked.

Just wanted to give everyone an update. I'm still quite sick. But have gotten the diarrhea and vomitting under control.

Last Monday, I went to see a somewhat well-known Naturopathic Physician Dr. Mark Stengler here in San Diego. He agrees that I likely have parasites and a bacterial infection. My labwork indicated a very high white blood cell count, so I am now on Cipro. I actually still feel quite sick and am now dealing with a very painful UTI/bladder infection! I also feel something starting to attack my lungs. This is an area of weakness for me since I have COPD (but never smoked).

Dr. Stengler had me do a 3 day stool sample collection. I FEDEXed off to Genova Diagnostics last week. It won't be for about two weeks before we know exactly which parasites (if any) I am dealing with! I am very worried the lab results will come back negative! (As they sometimes do!)

I am really incredibly sick. I even informally made funeral and will arrangements with my mom--told her my wishes--just in csse. But, the most frustrating thing is people around me don't really believe I'm THAT sick. I'm kind of like Michael Jackson....pretty weak most of the time, but get occasional bursts of energy. I mean, he knew he really could possibly die. I feel that way as well. I was incredibly healthy just a few years ago. But deep down I know something within me is ravaging my body.
