Just wanted to remind people, ivermectin is not to be missused.
Yes it builds up in your system, and overdoseing (not paying very careful attention to the dosage by weight) can cause your brain to hemorage, seize, coma, and then death.
I watched an animal die, a slow death, from an idiot giving it a whole tube, first the animal started shaking and walking spastickly, then its eyes started bleeding, then it lay there in a coma for days, then it finaly past away. Still makes my sick, thinking of it.
However, it "is" my experiance, that the worms of today are not going to be run off by one dosage of anything.
When I administer ivermectin, it must be given on day one, and again on day three, or its a complete waist of time, it only kills adults and latened stage larvae, it does not kill eggs or some second stage larvae, so they must be hit again, with full strength on day 3 and day 7. And for extra concern, again on day 20.
Now this is with the full strength by weight method (1.87%). And I still stand by this method always, verses slow, low dosages of anything, for anything. Low dosage, slow method, really creates opertunity for vermin to become immuned. This is my experiance and proven over and over, every where.
