Hello - started with Sonny #7 & #9 (Psyllium & Bentonite) over the weekend. I was wondering when I might expect to see some results as far as bowel movements? I've been having real little ones - nothing spectacular yet. Will it be runny or just softer? My diet has been consiting of fresh salads, vegitables, fruit and some nuts (not a lot) and lots of filtered water with lemon. Question - are nuts NOT recommended to eat during this process?

This is a reply to # 150,294No sure I was on this for 2 weeks and I do drink LOTS of water. I seem to be constipated this past week an I stopped the cleanse on saturday.
I will restart it this week but I do not understand why I am not really having Bm's. I tried a couple days to go to 2 shakes a day but it seemed to make my stomach feel bloated.
My Bm's are small and hard pebbles.

bentonite is constipating. You have to take a herbal lax-ative along with it. Just doing plenty of water will not work. JD- Bentonite is constipating??? lizbeth

If Bentonite is constipating, why take it if the purpose is to remove old mucoid plaque? I'm already constipated to the max. I'm going to stop taking the Bentonite and think about the Master Cleanse. All this is very confusing. I have a lot of Senior Moments.- Re: Bentonite is constipating??? UserX

MoreThis is a reply to # 150,311If you're already very constipated do not attempt the psyllium and Bentonite Colon Cleanse until the impaction is removed and you are going more regularly. The Master Cleanse is a great cleanse... but not a substitute for a thorough colon cleanse. It will not remove a significant quantity of mucoid plaque.

This is a reply to # 150,306Sorry, but I have to disagree with you here. I've done many Colon Cleanses and worked with many people doing them and laxatives are not necessary. IF you become constipated during a Colon Cleanse enemas or colonics are much safer and more effective. Actually, the increased fiber is more often the culprit when constipation is experienced during a colon cleanse...and increased water intake...from either end...will move it along.
