Here is my story of recovery from various ailments thanks to curezone! I have been visiting curezone for many years now, but this is my first post ever. All my life I have been labelled a hypochondriac, and sometimes I even felt like maybe I was. Every doctor I ever saw said I was in good health and I just needed to lose some weight. I couldn't understand how I could possibly be labeled healthy when I had terrible keratosis pilaris, premature Arthritis (I'm only 32!) no energy, chronic constipation, a puffy/coated tongue every morning, lumpy breasts, constant headaches, asthma, extreme sensitivity to bath/cleaning products, brittle nails, and thick/dry/wiry hair. I found some relief when I cut gluten out of my diet, then oil swishing and PB shakes, but not enough to really feel healthy and vital. Then I discovered Lugol's iodine, foot painting and kelp on curezone.com a few months ago. Iodine combined with an almost completely organic, gluten free lifestyle has completely turned my health around in less than four months! No more daily asthma attacks, my KP bumps are FALLING out (mostly on their own), no more lumpy breasts, my nails are smooth and strong, my hair is less poofy and my scalp doesn't burn after I wash it, I have tons more energy, normal BM's, headaches are few and far between...mostly when I miss my morning coffee, which I plan on quitting when my kids are a little more independent. My tongue was not puffy or swollen after the first few weeks of Iodine supplementation, but that has returned since I've had to start sleeping with my windows closed at night...I'm guessing it's all the Raid my father-in-law uses in his home (which my kids and I will be leaving soon)!

I still have issues if I spend too long in a mall or a store that smells too much of perfume, and in basements with oil or gas furnaces. I'm hoping those issues will go away when I am living in a less toxic environment. Up until now I have no energy (or desire) to excercise. So now that I'm ready and able to get active again without the fear of severe asthma attacks I imagine I will continue to improve my health since some toxins can only be sweated out!

My five year old son also had some chemical sensitivity, dry skin and constipation issues. Sneaking kelp into some of his meals and painting him with Iodine has helped him tremendously too! His ears no longer turn swollen and red in the presence of strong perfumes or chemical odors, he has normal BM's and his KP has improved a little. I'm afraid to give him too much kelp since he's so young, but if he keeps improving little by little it's better than no improvement at all.
