2 weeks ago I was out on the mountain snowboarding. I used to go all the time when I was in high school but haven't been out for a couple winters now. I got a good full day in but at the end I got a little to brave I guess and took a bad fall. In the instant I fell I could hear my knee snap and for the first couple minutes I couldn't move because I was in so much pain. So the crew came a pulled me down and iced it for a minute, of course insisting I go to the hospital. There was no swelling, no bruising, just bad internal pain and I could not put any pressure on it or move it at all. As soon as I got home I starting soaking it with spray III and wraped it with B&W. I was out of bf&c capsules for the night (bad mistake! always keep these on hand!) I soaked in a warm bath with MH's bath experience oils in it.
Now here is what I found interesting- I use spray III all the time and it has never bothered me at all. but when I sprayed it on my knee this time and got in that warm bath with the oils, my knee was beet red and on fire like never before! It felt great! It was amazing how the body knows to utilized those herbs and get the circulation going when its really needed.
So I went to bed that night feeling pretty good, no pain through the night. So morning came around and I hopped right up thinking I was fine- took one step and totally collapsed in pain.
I looked down and noticed there was a huge bruise on the inside of my knee that had come out overnight.
I stayed on crutches for a couple days- took about 100 BF&C caps the first day, maybe 60 the next couple days, kept it wraped with MH's new ointment and sprayed and soaked it mulitple times daily. This all keeped me pain free.
Visited the Chiropractor twice within a week. He twisted my knee and hips back into place and I could walk again.
After just a week, I was just about back to normal. My terrible bruise has healed faster than I could have ever imagined.
I talked with people about how differently this could have went IF I had chose to go to the hospital and use a medical route....X-rays, MRI's, physical therapy, drugs drugs and more drugs and I'm sure I would be in pain and have an injury forever!
I know most find it hard to trust when it comes to "injuries" and think they have to run to the emergancy room every time...hope this story helps to reassure you.
