I really want to take some kind of blood test to see if there are any bacteria in my blood which may be causing my ill health. I am fairly confident that I do have Lyme Disease, but what would be the best and possibly easiest way to really find out?

I have read about the blood smear test and how it is a lot better at finding the culprits in the blood. I don't have any kind of insurance or health care, so I don't know what I can or should do.
