I stopped drinking and started a raw-veggies-and-water detox cleanse. When I did, BAM, I got a male crotch yeast infection. BOO!
So now, I need to know how to support my immune system (to clean out the skin yeast) while still allowing my body to cleanse and detox.
I have a big ol' jug of glutamine and would like to consume maybe 3 grams for each jug of water I drink -- about 5 jugs a day.
But I read one website that said candida feeds on glutamine.
Is that true at all? Or just in large amounts? I figure glutamine is hugely beneficial for fighting candida because everybody praises it, but maybe large amounts actually end up helping the yeast...?
