Years ago I bought a 1 lb bag of quassia wood chips and have used it up making quassia tea. 1/8 cup quassia chips to 3 cups water. Simmer 20-30 min. Pour off 1/8 cups now and drink. Refrigerate remainder. Drink 1/8 cup 4 times a day, until a total of 1/2 cup of chips is consumed. Flavor with spices.
