Couldn't keep oil and lemon juice do...

I did a 'revised' version of the flush last night, drank a big dose of Epson Salts 2 hours before my olive oil, lemon juice, which went down ok. I lay in bed, etc, but woke up at 2:30 in the morning feeling extremely ill. I went to the toilet to see it it would help, but instead ended up vomiting 3 times, pretty sure it was mostly lemon juice/olive oil, as i could see it and taste it. Could it have been sitting in my stomach that long?
Not much came out this morning - some greeny bits and a few stones.
Any advice?
I can't believe that i wouldn't have any stones, i eat reasonably well, but not that well! I haven't done a parasite cleanse though, do most of you do this before trying a flush?
Perhaps i drank too much oil - i had 1 cup oil, 1 cup lemon juice.

I know exactly what it feels like to have that kind of reaction. My first couple of flushes went o.k. i mean i did'nt feel like i wanted to get sick or something, the mixture went down without any problems and i did'nt have bad reactions.
I think it was the third time i did it when i went on vacation to poland, i did everything the same way as always, exept for using a different brand of olive oil- really nesty tasting too. I went to bed, but i couldn't fall asleep. I made it till like 3:00 a.m. and i couldn't hold it any longer.
The next time i did it with my usual olive oil it was o.k.
My suggestion would be that if you wanna keep on flushing try few different brands, maybe it was just the oil.
By the way i only used grapefruit juice, it makes a nice mixture with the oil.
Lemon juice does'nt blend as well.

This is a reply to # 174,448The oil was ok (it was a lot though!!), i love the taste of olive oil, and only ever use extra virgin. It may have been the lemon - will switch to grapefruit for next time.

I think that that is a lot of oil particularly if you have a clogged liver and/or gallbladder. The gallbladder will usual only secrete about 25% of its contents in reaction to a meal (the oil potion). If it is clogged with stones or the normal reflex is weak it can't achieve the quantity of bile to digest the food. Secondly the pancreas has to produce a large amount of natural bicarbonate to neutralise the acid in the lemon/grapefruit juice. If it can't manufacture enough the stomach will not hold a high acid meal indefinitely and will give it up.
This doesn't mean that that the flush was ineffective and the bile and stones that you managed to pass is very good.
Reduce the potion by half and you should be OK.
The sleeping position is not critical to the flush and lying on your stomach, even worse sleeping on your stomach, especially for a large folk is not good. (My opinion)

This is a reply to # 174,446To me, a cup of olive is too much for most people...especially 'newbies'.
And I agree with the previous poster, too. The type of olive oil can make a major difference. The preferable olive oil is Extra Virgin...cold or expeller pressed (cold is best).
Many of the olive oils sold in stores, are mixed with other hydrogenated oils (but it's not on the label)...which is because the manufactures aren't telling (but they have been called on the carpet for doing it). Sadly, Bertolli, one of my all-time favorites (that I used to SWEAR by, at least for cooking) is implicated in the "scam".

This is a reply to # 174,449..really?? Aaarrgghh. This kind of thing makes me SO mad! Foodstuffs and cosmetics that are "clean" and ethical should be awarded a special badge or something to use on their packaging so the consumer can make a good choice.
Is the scam detailed on line somewhere? Interested to read more about it...

This is a reply to # 174,454I know i keep saying this, so forgive me if i'm repeating myself... there is one brand of olive oil that i really trust. i know they put no hydrogenated oils or any diluters of any kind in it.... http://www.barianioliveoil.com there's a little video on their site about how its made. its family run by a family that came over from italy and wanted to make olive oil 'the old way.'

This is a reply to # 174,449I used EVOO, i think the answer might lie with the blasted lemon juice. Will swap to grapefruit juice next time, as it emulsifies nicely with the oil.

This is a reply to # 174,446I did my first flush using a cup of olive oil mixed with a cup of grapefruit juice. I did not feel like vomiting. All went well. I switched to lemon juice and olive oil for my second flush and could not sleep all night as I felt like puking. I did not puke and the feeling passed(thank God), and I still ended up having a pretty productive flush. Needless to say, I think I am going to stick with Grapefruit Juice. You may want to switch to Grapefruit juice for your next flush and see if you still end up vomiting.

This is a reply to # 174,452I think i will!! I've done it before with grapefruit juice - didn't feel ill at all. It seemed to work anyway, as i got 40 stones out of various sizes, yay!! It wasn't totally wasted.

i just wanted to make a helpful suggestion. ive used olive oil and grapefruit juice like Hulda Clark says and it worked really good, but tastes yuk.
so i started using almond oil and cherry juice. much better. it doesn't make me wanna gag and it works 2.
