UPDATE 031406: Well this lasted for about three weeks then I needed my inhaler as usual. :(
Maybe the "stones" from the back rolled into spots in my liver that make me allergic? Overall I am much better, but my asthma isn't gone... oh well...it was an exciting few weeks!
I will keep flushing! Is is such an inconvience I need to plan my life around it !!

This is completely unscientific, but I wanted to share this with you.
I have had Asthma all my life and I am 34.
For the past two weeks it has been gone!!!
I am not taking any medicine.
I haven't had any for the past two weeks and it is rather a record for me. I normally need my rescue inhaler once a day or everyother day. My post-nasal drip is significantly reduced. If I go a month I am gonna have a party!
Granted, I got acupuncture (and herbs) for a year but I haven't been since last April. I went to a student clinic and they all told me I had a congested liver. And damp-heat. And deficiency. One of the students used to call me "liverspleen girl":) I don't eat ice cream any more that is for sure.
Sept-Nov I did a herbal intestinal cleanse program/anti- parasite program.
I did one *very* successful flush right after Thanksgiving ( I drank a lot of organic unfiltered apple juice the day before) It seemed like the apple juice did a lot of work on its own since I pooped out a lot of brown pea sized chaff even before drinking the olive oil. I have been drinking a lot of apple juice over the past months as well. Don't want to leave that part out.
I did a second flush about a week after New Year's. It didn't seem as successful. I got that horrible cold that is going around right after I did that.
But ... I haven't used my rescue inhaler for two weeks!!! I even challenged myself by hiking up a hill in the cold wind which usually triggers my wheezes...I became short of breath but I didn't need my inhaler.

This is a reply to # 175,007my son went from a normal diet to a veggy diet only and has not had one attack....
that was his trick and he even made it the last couple of days without an attack and the weather went from 70 to 55 in about 20 minutes! (drastic weather changes used to trigger an attack).

This is a reply to # 175,009That is interesting. I was vegetarian for about 8 years. I did eat sushi and eggs and cheese so maybe I wan't really eating an all veggie diet. I have been back to eating meat occasionally for the past three years. Mostly because the acupuncturists recommened I eat a little meat like lamb because of my "deficiency" condition.
I do notice that I prefer vegetraian food over meat, so maybe there is something to that.
Eating meat is like taking drugs; and I am hooked on it! :)

WOOHOO! It sounds like you're WELL on your way to killing the "asthma varmit" :)
It takes us a LONG time to "unlearn" what we've been thinking all our life...that there's something very special and "scientific" (beyond our knowledge) about a doctor that gives you a drug that takes away a symptom or two, but doesn't help your body heal. Sure, they come up with double-blind studies funded by pharmaceutical companies, and create zillions of "scientific chemical cocktails" that take away a symptom here or there (and cause a side effect here or there), but they seem to have totally forgotten the age old Science of HEALING the body.
The asmtha is/was like oil light coming on in your car. There was something wrong in your body, and the asmtha was your oil light. For all this time, you've gone to doctors that gave you varying sizes of tape to put over the oil light so you couldn't see it...but something you've done has done MORE than that, it's started to take away the reason the oil light ever came on in the first place.
The Liver Flushing probably did have a fabulous effect. The liver is the main 'chemist' of the body, creating and detoxing the bloodstream from all kinds of chemicals & hormones (as well as processing fat). If the tubing in the liver-machine is all clogged up, it doesn't take a PhD or a quantum physicist to determine the liver-machine can run better if the tubing was unclogged...it just takes a third-grade Science project. And PhD or third-grade...science IS science. So you're a scientist and your liver is a chemist, and between the two of you, you're doing GREAT things :) GOOD FOR YOU!
And the Liver Flushing will become a LOT easier (and take less 'devoted' time) after you've done it a few more times and you feel more comfortable 'tweaking' the guidelines to suit your lifestyle. After a few more, they'll be "nothin' but a thing" :)

I like your description. I do feel like I have been conducting a Science experiment on my internal organs! It is fun. Ever since my flush in Novembmer my "insides" have been making a lot of gurgling noises, so the unclogged pipes makes a lot of sense.
When I was a kid my asthma was so bad I was hospitalized and rushed to the emergency room often. It never was really under control until I went away to college and had to take care of myself. Not that my parents are at fault, asthma is something I needed to take responsiblity for and as a kid I didn't have the right level of self awareness.or body knowledge. My parents couldn't do the right things for me because they were not me.
If I have "cured" myself; it is ridiculus that Liver Flushing isn't taught in public school health classes!! it seems like normal hygene such as flossing! - Re: Asthma midge

I loved your analogy of the 'oil light'! That was great!! My son has asthma, but don't know when to have him do a Liver Flush (he's 11). He does not take any meds for it.

This is a reply to # 175,007A more efficient liver means less contamination in your system, which means less allergies and asthma. Happens all the time. My allergies are way better.

You would be the second person that said it cleared up their post nasal drip and I've only been researching for 2 days now.

I did an intestine/ parasite program cleanse for a few months before I did the flushes
Let's see... the day before I drank about a half gallon of unfiltered Organic apple juice.
The day of I only ate breakfast and fasted the rest of the day only drinking water and apple juice.
I did the two epson salt drinks; I am extremely sensitive to the epson salts!
I drank 1/2 cup olive oil (cold pressed organic unrefined) I chased each gulp with a bite of orange. Like doing tequilla shots but with olive oil and oranges. The second time I used limes as a chaser. I am sure you could use grapefruit. Then I lay down.
I did not drink the Epsom Salts the next day because I was "peeing stones from my butt" all night long.
Post Nasal drip additional info: I got some Black-Walnut (fresh green hulls) tincture and I put some of the drops directly in the back of my throat (like on the tonsils). My thinking was that if I have a some kind of parasitic fungus or bacteria in the back of my throat or sinuses, then using the tincure directly on it might do some good. I only used it a couple of times like that. It felt like it worked. But if you try that make sure you are not allergic to the tincture; I always have a little fear with herbs since my asthma is also allergy induced.
