I have just spent the day dehydrating myself from a ridiculously hyper-hydrated state. It definitely has helped me to know when I need salt more quickly than I did when I was drinking a couple of gallons of water a day! Now, though, it seems like I am uber-sensitive to the slightest imbalance in my minerals, and all of my imbalances demonstrate themselves using the same set of symptoms: twitching, cramping muscles.
How do y'all know what your body is asking for? So far its been mostly saalt, thogh a little while ago it seemed to be potassium, which is a real challenge for me to get in my system. Wheneer I supp with, or even eT foods that are rich in, potassium, magnesium or calcium, my heart does these scary little strong beats, telling me it's not happy with the sudden influx of whatever.
Also, how do you know when/how much to drink? I don't really hae thirst now, so its very hard to tell.
Please tell me this gets better!
