In this veterinary study, Lugol's was given to 15 buffaloes who would not come into heat (estrus) and therefore wouldn't conceive. When given iodine, 73% came into heat and 53% of those coneceived.
They compared this group to another 15 buffaloes who were NOT given iodine. None of them went into heat or nonceived.

Of course, a good thought. It's depressing to think, though, that when there were thundering herds of buffalo, they didn't need Lugol's to come into estrus and conceive. I wonder if they were being fed manufactured food, or if that's another commentary on the sad state of our soil.

Researchers have found PBDE bromide fire retardants in the fat of artic seals.
There was an article this week on how much is in pregnant women.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,759,106there is a lot of Iodine use in animal husbandry. those big bodies process a lot of vegetation. it is clear to me there is not as much Iodine in that vegetation as there used to be.
as for fertility, its all about hormones. no iodine, hormones no worky.
