Bugleweed is the most effective. Melissa (lemon balm) is also very good as is prunella (heal all). Food wise flax seed is a goitrogen as is raw broccoli, cabbage or Brussel's sprouts.
Since this can be autoimmune it is also important to focus on your adrenal glands:

This is a reply to # 1,760,128Cabbage, kale, broccoli and cauliflower lower thyroids when they are raw. Try grated cabbage salad with chives, cherry tomatoes and olive oil, truly yummy!
