Cutler suggests that people who have problems with sulfur foods (thiols) should restrict high sulfur foods from the diet in order to successfully chelate. (See page 70 and 195-196 of Cutler's book). Most of these foods are cruciferous and are needed to keep the liver healthy. As a person who has impaired sulfur intox, if I restrict high sulfur foods from my diet while chelating, my liver will not have the proper support to detox.
Consequently, I have decided to eat cruciferous foods anyway. In addition, I am paying more attention to my liver by making a tea with tumeric, cayenne, lime and hot water to get it started in the morning. I also do coffee enemas
and have noticed a lot of mucus is being removed from my liver. This can only lead to progress in mercury detox process.
