Does anyone currently have a reverse osmosis unit that they can recommend? I'm looking for one to place under the kitchen sink that has an automatic shut off valve. Please let me know of any sites you recommend.
They're not something HV recommends as it wastes 5-10 times the water you use. There's ways to reuse it, but I think it was expensive. I can't remember it all but google ro water wasted, or something like that and see what they can do.
I only use distilled water now. I can't believe the difference. I usually add a drop of drop of essential oil of oregano to the water after it's distilled. I was pretty astonished when I first saw the junk left in the distiller when it was empty.
I think I saw a past post where H recommended distilled water.
R.O. and Distilled both need DE. Distilled is the more solvent of the two, so more agressive in robbing the body of minerals. The trade-off for removal of unwanted chemicals is the need to restore minerals. Easy enough to do.
