This is my first time posting but I have been a 9 year follower. Not sure if I'm even posting this correctly, but my 60 year old fathers' life depends on this. I wanted to start this sooner but my mother was always dependent on the Dr's and not fully trusting the alternative route. With her blessing she now is fully ready to try anything within her means ($$$$). So here is my daddy's 9 year history of living with stage 4 Glioblastoma.
In 2003 my father was diagnosed with stage 4 Glioblastoma in the right front of the brain. Dr. started hem on Temodar and radiation. Gave him 6 months to live without surgery and 1 year with. It was fast growing so he had emergency surgery which was successful. Removed all but the outer layer. Stayed on Temodar and also with much research on my part I found CureZone which did lead my mother to a Herbalist that put him on a regiment of vitamins. One which was Colostrum which I believed helped him a great deal. So from 2003 to 2009 he took the vitamins and Temodar. He hadn't changed much. Slowed him down only a little never had pain and was only week and sick the days he took chemo pills. In Sept 2009 he was cancer free. MRI showed nothing. He did it. It fought that cancer and won. HE BEAT IT. DR. kept him on Temodar and Colostrum and 3 month MRI's. In March 2010 still no sign of cancer so DR. took him off Chemo Pill. During the 7 years fighting cancer he was also fighting diabetes. Diabetic and brain tumor. In July 2010 he fell mowing the lawn and hit the back of his head. Later that day he fainted. Paramedics checked him out and was ok. Two weeks later still acting funny mom took him to ER. MRI showed Tumor fast growing from right to left front brain. Brain swelling and he was acting not all there. Still no pain but saying and doing crazy things. Anger, losing control of bladder and so on. Said they couldn't do surgery or radiation and tumor had become immune to Temodar. In and out of hospital. Decadron for swelling and new chemo Avistin. Decadron really makes Sugar high. Then they had new radiation machine so he did 20 of those. After that finished up he has become so weak. The last two months he is getting weaker and weaker. He has not had any chemo or radiation for 2 months said it wouldn't do any good. Three weeks ago Dr. said she gives him 2 months or so. Now he is to the point he can't get up on his own or walk. Sits in chair all day long. Doesn't know when he has to go to the bathroom. Needs help showering. Still eats good he eats by himself. He is still very much alive. Still knows whats going on. Still smiles and tries to interact with his grandkids. Doesn't talk much but answers questions and still has a great sense of humor. Also need to add that he caught MRSA. So MRSA diabetes and brain tumor. His feet are so swollen and legs are so weak. List of meds he is on now are.....Prilosec, Valtrex, Diflucan, Keppra, Glucophage, Decadron, Diabeta, Ritalin, Humulinru, Nystatin.
So with all of my research I need in the right direction. Money is an issue but I have read about Essiac Tea, flax oil and cottage cheese dandalion root licarice root apple cider vinegar and so on. SO I pray this reaches you in helping me start healing him if I can. I have prepared myself for his passing but if there is ANYTHING that we can do PLEASE HELP. I need to know what herbs and how much and how to prepare. Anything to strengthen him for his last days. Or if there is someone I can talk to. If you think you can help please respond.
