Be careful with supplementing with any oils(fish oil etcc...) alot of them cause burp up/rancid. I dont like buying oils that have been sitting on a hot shelf for a period of time--dont trust them. The majority of fish oil supps that i have taken have been rancid due to heat exposure. I usually try to buy low fat fresh fish at whole foods.
I agree with Tony you got to limit the inflamation as much as possible. I can not do red meat /pork any more its just too much digestive work. I do much better with low fat fish/ground chicken breast. Sometimes the protein powders can be a little mucous forming but i do occasionally do pea protein powder if i can not stomach solids. To help prevent constipation I usually do pumpkin seeds at night. I get raw seeds and then i slow roast them to improve their digestion. Im trying pecans right now. Raw Macadamias seem to agree with me as well.
I stay away from "store" roasted nuts/seeds, peanuts, pistachios, for the most part cashews. Its strange though I cant do the seeds or nuts early in the day because they make me too calm. But when they reach my colon they seem to make me a little astringent/edgy when they cause my bowels to work harder. For me the seeds and nuts keep my bowels moving much better than veggies. Maybe cause their more acid forming? Nuts and seeds help to keep my weight up otherwise I start to lose weight as well.
I feel your pain Dvorge this diet is never ending pain in the #$@%&. Just keep a food journal and see what works best for you. Everyone ca be slighlty different depending on their "flora make up".
A restricted diet is necessary to reduce inflammation in the body and keep candida from spreading.
