I don't know if elecampane is more effective than Wormwood
against roundworms, but it is certainly much less toxic, so more can be taken, and it can be used much longer. Wormwood
should not be used for more than a month, then at least 3 months before using it again. I have read that these herbs work synergistically against parasites
when used a few at a time. I think cloves, turmeric and Wormwood
may be the most effective against roundworms, but elecampane, cayenne, and garlic should also be useful. Cloves can be used longer term, but should not be used in excess(not more than a teaspoon or a teaspoon and a half of ground cloves a day if using it longer term).
