well, I'm just going through this with my "Z" -- (edit--we are out the post-op side) but he's not 99. He's 62.
The thing is, I believe they *have to do something*...(considering the imperfect world, sigh),but a screw?
Oh dear. Shades of the unclarity that passes for communication, at such a time.. It's abysmal. That's what I've been discussing today with the patient advocate and so on...
I am told the hip won't heal on its own, and can cause death. That it can't heal by itself, unless maybe she's got incredible Natural Healing care--how likely is that?
(Personally, I believe I might have been fixing the bones in my Z's hip, just with my healing hands...but you can't really split Natural healing with 'the system', sadly, and that's the real rub... as it were. sorry.
I'm just very sorry to hear this. God bless her, and the whole family. It's tough. But wow, she must be strong, and with good genes. 99! so,
I wish you all the goodness and calm of guardians standing by quietly. Even "invisibly".
