Ummm, no, actually I am new to this forum and I am not "impersinating" anyone. My first post was roughly a month ago, I would have to look back to check. I have only posted a few times because I am not much of a computer junky- no offense to anyone, I just don't have the time!
And I am not a he, I am a she. I would never do anything to impede the healing process of anyone. I simply want to share my story so that I can help people. If I can help one person that has this then I would be thrilled.
I believe that I healed rather quickly from this because I do have a strong immune system. At least I think I do. I have been eating relatively healthy for most of my adult life. No soda, very few concentrated sweets, very little processed foods, mostly organic, lots of veggies. And I take some supplements, and have been for much longer than since I bacame inflicted with this nonsense. I take krill oil (which is better than fish oil), flax seed oil, vit c, vit d 3, zinc, vit b complex, an antioxidant called astaxanthin (see Dr. Mercola's website-he's awesome), and a good probiotic. I don't exercise enough (although I walk everywhere) and I probably drink a little too much red wine after the kids go to bed :) but I do my best to keep the stress level down in general.
I know for a fact that I got this from using too much lip balm- the stuff SHOULD be BANNED. And I was going through a very personally stressful time when I got this, which I think contributed. I have no idea why everyone that uses lip balm does not have this. But the more I talk about it with my coworkers, family, and friends, the more I realze that lip balm addiction is a huge reality and a huge problem. I will never use lip balm again.
I also believe that the longer you have had this, the longer it will take to heal and you just have to have faith that you are on the right track even if you are discouraged.
To anyone who wants to ask me any questions: I am sorry if I don't reply right away, I am often away from my computer.
Keep smiling, people. It's great to see so many people supporting each other.
