I was flicking through a book on skin disorders in a book store today, and I came across this condition, Seborrheic Dermatitis
. It interested me because it consists of flaking of skin, mostly caused by sebum disruption. Then I entered it in the search bar on this forum, and it seems some people in the past wondered if EC and Seborrheic Dermatitis
were the same thing. And then I noticed that there's a whole forum dedicated to Seborrheic Dermatitis
I'm not saying that it's what people here have, but some of the similarities were interesting; there were many differences too. Also, the sebum disruption thing I mentioned before, possibly causing the yellowish/white colour in the lips, or fluid-like substance, interested me.
I just thought i'd mention it given that some people here are meeting specialists or whatever, and it might be worth mentioning to them/looking into it. Seems to be just as difficult to heal as EC though, from a quick look at that forum. Exfoliative Cheilitis, Seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis....all probably internal-related in my book.
