That is exactly how I feel! I have ideas of what is wrong, but they misdiagnose me then the next doctor questions that diagnosis and assumes I was the one who made the mistaken diagnosis and every doctor orders all of the wrong tests that I don't even want - then the results come back inconclusive and they say "ha see you are not as sick as you say you are", when it was the wrong test to begin with! They won't give me the tests I ask for either. I hope my doctor is receptive to the worm thing, and I also hope that is what it is so I can hopefully get better. I have had recurrent bacterial infections and she is becoming hesitant to give me
Antibiotics - something needs to give. I have also been seeing both a psychiatrist and a counsellor to prove that I am sane to my doctor.
I have had a risky life for parasites, I grew up with 3 cats and 3 dogs who were indoor/outdoor and always get worms and I go fishing a lot and my parents dont like to cook meat that well and are not that sanitary when handling meat and my dad eats wild game almost 100% of the time. I also grew up always in a horse stable and I have travelled to the caribbean while on prednisone. If I don't have some sort of
parasite I would be very surprised.
Even thinking about what I saw in the toilet makes me gag, I have no idea how I am going to bring it up to my doc without throwing up!
Good luck with your colonic! I am jealous that in BC ND's have that power to prescribe! It is so silly that you can buy all sorts of animal stuff over the counter, or we would just call the vet and say "Tiger has worms" and they would leave stuff for us and we wouldn't even have to take her in. Human doctors want every test to be perfectly positive for any condition before they treat it.
