The Shadow
There is a well known mechanism going on in the psyche of ordinary people. You learned as a child that anger, sadness and frustration isn't good and that you must fight tooth and nails to prevent it. And this are you doing since childhood because society want you to behave in a certain way. To fight emotions and hereby suppressing them is itself a destructive handling because these emotions go only under the surface, the accumulation of these "bad" emotions in the unconscious results in a shadow-self. This self, which isn't you to be clear, projects itself in the outside enviroment. It is this unrecognized veil which stands between you and the enviroment and so it disturbs your view of reality. The world appears different than it really is. The shadow tries to come to the surface again and again but only to be again suppressed via emotional counter-feelings, in hard cases even with drugs and alcohol.
To become healthier means that you gain awareness of your self and someday you will then recognize these emotions. The shadow-self comes to the surface and you can deal with it completly. This doesn't mean that when for example suppressed anger about a person comes to the surface that you go to this specific person and punch him in the face, it means that you just become aware of this anger, watch it quietly and then give it a go. The ego and the shadow self is itself a mental dualism. By bringing the shadow self into awareness you put together the mentally created opposites and in the end it will release all tension and you become peaceful.
Let it all out, it is part of a deeper healing which is very welcomed. It will be painful and by releasing all this waste sometimes you get confused with really extreme feelings of existential fears, depression and anger. Don't judge this, lay down and go as deep as you can into it.
Body and mind are one. To heal one of this two means you heal the other, too.
Jesus: "Resist not evil"
1) What do you mean with this suggestion ?
2) Read this: http://www.biblecenter.de/bibel/cbc/resist.php
Yes I know that it is hard to realize that Jesus said this, but the truth behind this is far greater than one can imagine. To be a complete being you must learn to accept both sides of the medal. Good and evil are opposites which needs to co exist (yin & yang), without evil you cannot know what is good.
For those who are awake, we focus on Love, so there is no evil to bother with.
