Yesterday was rough. I felt the water sitting in my stomach from the day before almost all day and it made me feel ill.
I was real weak, dizzy and heart palpitations were strong.
I was worried about being dehydrated as my mouth kinda wanted water but my stomach still felt full/nauseous and made me feel if I would drink anything it would come right back up.
Decided to do a retention enema for some hydration. Used about 300ml of salted water. After this the weakness, dizziness, and heart palpitations reduced in severity a lot which confirms to me my body was dehydrated. I have also been hardly peeing at all and body temp was difficult to control.
Soon after this though I started to feel really ill. My stomach felt more nauseous and just ill. I was anxious about my body not accepting water and it sitting in my stomach for 1.5 days and wanted to end the fast.
Was this all due to the enema, or a continuation of the sickness from drinking the water or general die off?
Anyway about 3 hours later the stomach discomfort went away and I felt great (even though I was still ill with fatigue, etc). I think at this time my stomach stopped feeling full of water as well!
This morning I have started sucking on ice cubes in hopes that I can slowly re introduce water into my digestive system. I will build on this over the next 2 days.
If I still cannot accept oral water by then I will have to start regularly using water retention enemas.
What do you guys think of my experiences thus far?
