You have to go very slowly. It can take you a few months to get all the off.
I would suggest taking 2.5 mg less a bed time for a week.
Then if you feel ok I would take 2.5 from the 2nd 10 mg daily for aweek and see how you feel.
I would continue decreasing by 2.5 weekly until you are down to 10 aday...this is when it can get tough. Once you know yhuo are ok on 10 mg daily I would suggest going down 2.5 in two weeks and see how you feel and continue this until you are off...but if you crash take Blood pressure if low add back 5 mg for 1 or 2 days the decrease the 5 you took extra by 2.5 mg and keep an eye on BP then in a few day get back down to 7.5 mg and keep an eye on BP. Infact before decreasing see what you Bp is now and see if it will maintain to that closely with out dropping to much as you decrease.
THE BLOOD PRESSURE TELL ALOT ABOUT HOW MUCH HYDRO TO ADD WHEN CRASHING.
Hope this make sense...if you go to fadt you will not have success getting off.
PS I am still suck on 10 mg daily..my BP
will let me know when it is ok to back down more....
