Im not too sure, but for some reason every day that I start again supplementing with zinc (this NB supplement lasts forever, I have problems finishing it xD) I get more agressive. Could this be a copper dump? I thought it was testosterone but its not a healthy agressivity, it more like the hysterical yelling name-calling physical-violent agressivity.- Re: Zinc and copper WoolPippi

MoreThis is a reply to # 2,067,117sure it can. Excess Copper floats around the synapses in your brain, messing with things.
I get hyper active thoughts when in a Copper dump. Planning all kinds of world domination and becoming a rich and famous artist. Don't nobody mess with me when I'm like that!

as long as it subsides I'm ok with it.
I do get a 'heavy' liver though, I suddenly notice I have one. Do you too?

This is a reply to # 2,067,342Yes! Wooippie my experience with copper dumps was the same! I would get manic, at times angry, and set towards world domination.
So yes, Blistering, that is a sign of a copper dump, but that is not the only possibility so be careful. You might try molybendum and vit. C to see if you get the same reaction, if so it might be the copper (as moly and C also chelate it), but if only zinc bothers you it could mean that zinc itself causes you problems?
But i'd bet its a copper dump. It's best to dump copper gradually as well, so don't overdo it.

This is a reply to # 2,067,356Thats good info about vit c and moly, with that I would dissipate the doubts. So we will see with the new doc in a few weeks. I will take a higher dosage of zinc today and study the reaction. I dont remember if I get manic but sure I feel much more dominant.

Hehe! I get those phases as well, but I cannot remember if they are when im taking zinc or not. It might be related. I didnt notice anything with the liver. BTW im an artist as well and I am profoundly convinced most of the time that if I could focus on finishing something it would be a success.

There is a simple test you can do to find if you need zinc
Obtain fluid zinc (Zinc drink) and taste a teaspoon of the fluid. If it tastes bad straight away you do not need zinc.

This is a reply to # 2,067,398its actually the way with most things...especially food but NB likes to put in supplements that you 'dont' need to outset something else like the whole copper thing...when i had a hair test done Wilson wanted lots of zinc even though my zinc and copper was almost perfect.
