I would probably take my pills with coke if I did not have a candida infection. Candida loves coke, and I do not want to become addicted to coke again. If you do not think you will become addicted to coke, then it is no problem drinking it. I admit that I am still eating sweets with the medication since I figure the medication is killing the fungus without me having to kill the fungus by totally eliminating sugar. But I will have to really lower my Sugar
intake after I stop the medication in a couple weeks. I take the medication after breakfast and after dinner. I only drink the warm water lemon hot sauce drink first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, then I eat breakfast. Fruit juice interferes with absorption so I just drink water all day long.
My lips started to clear after 2 weeks. During the first 2 weeks, my raw top lip was white in contact with water while it was growing new skin. For the most part that new skin stayed on, but it turned white when in contact with water. So, it was a gradual process. The white line disappeared after the first week. When I started growing even more new skin beyond the area I thought was affected by EC, however, the new skin turned white in contact with water. At 5 weeks now, the newest skin is permanent so it does not turn white in contact with water.
At another doctor's office today, I requested a blood test for candida just to see if it is gone. This doctor (in his 80s) said there was no such thing as candida. I questioned why no such thing shows up in my blood, then. He is an old school doctor.
