I believe we should be holding our Doctors who say 'hmm I don't smell anything' to some sort of accountability.
Doctors are gladly taking our money for these appointments after appointments, referring us to other specialists who in turn are getting paid to tell us the same thing or testing for things this has nothing to do with. i believe this is an enzyme deficiency. (Our body has approx. 75,000 enzymes).
Back to the medical community.
These Body Odor
diseases are recognized in the U.S, Britain, Canada, (and perhaps Europe and Australia) as stated on MEBO and TMAU websites. The medical community knows these exist, at least some members or researchers do and when our Doctors are shown these sites, they cannot tell us to our faces or dispute the legitimacy of these illnesses. They are required to some degree to keep abreast of new illnesses/disorders/diseases as they arise through networking, symposiums, medical journals etc so how this is getting through the cracks is beyond me.
I think we should be notifying our boards of physicians in each city, state etc of how we are getting no help, no answers from our Doctors and lobbying for some action and help. The reason this is not being researched cannot be due to the sensitive matter of the subject. It is not fair to us, to any of us who suffer from this to be tossed aside. We pay taxes, we contribute to society in some shape or form.
If anyone wishes to contribute to my thoughts on this, I welcome any ideas, actions, frustrations etc.
