According to Dr. Jarvis who was an old country doctor and wrote several books on Vermont folk medicine, and one on arthritis, certain minerals buildup because of the foods we take in.. He proposed taking apple cider vinegar on a daily basis as it would acidify the body and remove buildups of mineral deposits like calcium.
he also proposed taking Iodine or general health... there seem to be alot of similarities between ACV and iodine.. I find it a strange coincidence also that Iodine is used commercially to make acetic acid, and ACV is primarily acetic acid itself.
Hummm... I was told my a couple intuitive people over the past few months I should be drinking Apple Cider vinegar. I did for a while and got off track. I guess I should get back to drinking it. Thanks for your input.
Raising the alkaline level of the body is generally a good thing because most people are WAY far too acidic from eating junk foods. It is a good idea to measure the urine pH to see where you are. If above 7.0 then caution is warranted.
