I finally won the war just as I knew I would when I embarked on this journey 3.5 years ago. I worked so hard to eradicate it. Took countless supplements and anti fungals. The Candida would ALWAYS come back. I need to share something with you all. I've completely cured my Candida forever and getting healthier every day. I truly hope this helps a lot of people as it did me.
The answer was so easy I was in shock when I discovered it. A Holistic Practitioner I know told me that so many people have extremely low Vitamin D he just prescribes 50,000 IUs for a month to get the blood levels up and then has their blood tested.
I tried it for myself and bingo! That was the trick. I have had health issues too many to count and Candida as long as I can remember as a kid. I was taking HCL. I am either gluten intolerant or Celiac I'm not sure. I eat a Paleo diet with no nightshades, eggs, dairy or nuts and seeds.

I still have damage to my gut and have more healing to go from eating gluten my whole life. I'm not sure if gluten caused the problem or if I developed the gluten issues due to lack of vitamin d. I'm not sure if there's a Gluten/Vitamin D connection but I know I wasn't absorbing nutrients properly.
So I am resetting my immune system by doing the AIP and the inflammation is decreasing even more now. Even my face looks different.
Now I am taking 30,000 and will have my blood levels checked next week. Toxicity is possible but not as easy as one might think. You can't get enough from food no matter how hard you try and most are not making their own through their skin. You'd have to expose at least 30 % of your body to the direct sun with no lotion or hat at least 3 times a week. The amount of time would depend on your skin tone and where you live.
So I suggest you try it and if you are too scared, get your blood levels checked and work with your Dr to optimize it.
