next time you see anything like that, dig them out and put them in a jar of hot water and see if they gel up or stay the same. i'm assuming they didn't break up or mush at all? the one by the q-tip resembles whipworm. i can see the other one looks like it but i can't see the tail. whipworm tails are skinny and sometimes they curl up on the end and they flatten out if they've been dead longer than 4 hours.
the ones to the left of the qtip look like a dead, flattened out roundworm, but it's hard to say what kind without a close up of the ends. you can sometimes identify them by their mouth if you have a good magnifying glass.
