So glad you had good results with seaweed. I urge you to switch to Lugol's solution and the Iodine protocol if you intend to continue with iodine. It contains both Iodine and iodide, which are needed for different parts of the body. Also, because of the pollution in the ocean, unless you cab test every batch, you don't really know what else you're getting along with the Iodine -- for example mercury and arsenic are concentrated by seaweed.
