MoreSo I got my saliva test results back for cortisol and dhea. To my surprise, my levels were not low.
Morning cortisol: 5.9 (3.7-9.5)
noon: 7.1 H (1.2-3.0)
evening: 1.9 (0.6-1.9)
night: 1.0 (0.4-1.0)
Can these levels cause the symptoms I am having? Like anxiety, insomnia, thirsty, heart palps.

My results were all normal, except slightly high night, although all my symptoms are low cortisol and my doc agrees it definitely is low.
I heard BioHealth is the most sensitive, ZRT and others often give false highs.
I'm about to send my test to their lab too.
Here's an interesting article, how one guy tested with ZRT and had perfect results, then had the test re-done with BioHealth and it showed stage 3 AF.

Wow, that is interesting. It was with zrt. A month ago I test tested with cell Science systems. The results were normal morning, low at noon, low at 5 pm and low at 10 pm. I was told that people were coming back low with cell science, so that is why I did it again with zrt. How does anyone know for sure then which lab is accurate? My results don't match the symptoms at all. My doc was puzzled too.
I think most labs are just not sensitive enough.
Did you take any supplements that could potentially sabotage the results?

This is a reply to # 2,240,661Very interesting article. I have used ZRT for the past two years and have always been suspicious of results. My cortisol read normal/high even though my symptoms said low.
My progesterone reading was the same between two readings even though the progesterone dosage I was using was lower prior to one of the tests.
Please keep us posted or send me PM on your results with BioHealth and how they compared to ZRT.

Here are the ones from ZRT:
Cortisol (Saliva) 8.8 ng/mL 3.7-9.5 (morning)
Cortisol (Saliva) 1.8 ng/mL 1.2-3.0 (noon)
Cortisol (Saliva) 1.1 ng/mL 0.6-1.9 (evening)
Cortisol (Saliva) 1.0 ng/mL 0.4-1.0 (night)
Cortisol all perfect, except night. There is no way I have these levels. With my symptoms, I am somewhere between stages 3C and 3D of AF, since I stay in bed 90 % of the time and I'm only (partly) functioning after 10 pm.

How did you feel on the day of the test?
For example, a male friend had the 4x saliva cortisol test. The doc suggested that he not smoke on the day of the test. He was amped up due to withdrawal! He did not have the usual amount of fatigue. He had high cortisol in the results.- Re: Can these symptoms be from high ... blessingof9
