This is a reply to # 2,249,838Vitamin C is important in the generation of collagen, which is the basis of much of the connective tissue. I am not talking about 1 or 2 500 mg tablets a day. Even at large doses it can take a long time to make up for years of neglect. It is probably good to get close to the bowel tolerance level and keep it there.
