I was told that I have SIBO before by a GI doctor or what they call IBS (which is synonymous to I don't know).
So I came down with bad candida symptoms about 3 months ago. Looks like I had candida for a long time. I have yeast (tinea versicolor) overgrowth on the skin for years but it had gotten worse in the past half a year or so.
So my new doctor (Functional) is treating me with the following protocol:
- Candicid (mix of Biotin, Oregano, Pau D'Arco, Berberine HCl, Rosemary, Cinnamon Bark Extract, Zinc Undecylenate, Sodium Caprylate) to kill Candida and bad bacteria.
- G.I. Detox (Pyrophyllite Clay, Activated Charcoal) to remove toxins
- InterFase Plus (similar to Candex but has more stuff in in) to break biofilm.
- Saccharomyces Boulardii (probiotics, interestingly good yeast) to build up good flora.
What do you think? Has anyone had experience with any of the products? Any input?
