My 500 gram bottle of potassium Iodide is empty. It took me 8 years. The math works out to 5.2 grams per month, for the past 96 months. That's roughly 175 milligrams per day, average. Some days I took none. Other day's I'd ingest a gram of it, etc.
On these forums, there were many uneducated, neurotic, psychotic, blatherers who claimed I'd hurt myself, that there's some "iodine cult", who are crazy, blah blah blah. lol

just want others to not make the same mistake or misunderstanding as i made, this was only potassium iodide.
it is not the same as taking grams of Lugol's iodine, or any other iodine/potassium Iodide solution.
i have not read on here of anyone taking grams of lugols, and don't think that would be safe but correct me if i am wrong.

This is a reply to # 2,308,307Potassium Iodide was used extensively for lung problems prior to WWII. Dosages of up to 1.8 GRAMS daily were used for COPD, asthma, & bronchitis. Many thanks to Trapper who first referenced this history.

This is a reply to # 2,308,329Yeah, its no big deal. Only the feminine emotional whiners seem to have an issue, but that terminology doesn't include all women, only the wimps. People need to be more bold and quit being such pusssies about iodine, let go of the friggn drama already

Also now (since months) i m stuck again with boob pain....
just orderd the "good old" J crows Lugols from the US ...
been using "german" Lugols 5% the last few months and somehow it doesnt seem to work... so weird ...
also i ve added a huge amount of this 5% stuff on my foot sole the other day and it was GONE in 8 hours.... and that after taking between 50-100 mg since end of 2013....
So well... i m gonna take 100mg worth crows Lugols again when it arrives and i hope my periodic boobpain will be gone again in 1-2 cycles ... as it did before several times...
yea there are ppl who try to scare one off from taking so much iodine... let alone Lugols (since its been oxidative etc)... but what should one do if pain comes back as soon as one changes directions...
i dont wanna have boob pain... even if its "only" periodic ... bad enough...
so yea ... back on track again soon

(i ve seen there are 500 ml bottles of J crows ) about 70 Dollars.... oh man.. i wish i could buy that stuff here in germany.... if i d order it via ebay i d have to pay 30-40 Dollars shipping and fees hahaha....
so i m stuck with 2 oz bottles :P

This is a reply to # 2,308,541if you live near canada you can pick up a big bottle of Lugols for $8 US funds (3-4 oz's) from a pharmacy.
I have to pre-order it, but i get it otc without prescription.
maybe you can have it mail ordered for you...?

This is a reply to # 2,308,307I've done it a few times, on occassion. But, anymore, I don't take much iodine, maybe 100 mg a month. Way back in the day, I took a lot more but it was just to flush a half a lifetime's worth of accumulations out. That having been accomplished, I just take a little once in a while.
