Dietary fat leading to insulin resistance is a scientific fact as far as I can tell.
But no, it can be nuts too. I think cutting out all fat is the way to go. Raw fats may be better and Avocado may be better yet, but to get of all fat should work.
Best would be to eat mostly plants with a bit of fruit IMO.
The worst candida food IMO are:
Bread, pasta, rice, potatos, ect.
The absolute worst would be a cheese danish, sorry.
