Starting Day 5 - Rash?

I'm starting Day 5 - almost halfway there! I'm feeling great, but noticed yesterday that my face was a little oilier than normal. And today I woke up with a rash, or something like a rash, on my face. It is mostly on my upper lip, on my cheeks and under my chin - pretty much everywhere except my nose and forehead. You can really *see* it, but I can feel it. And I hope it does not get to the point where you can see it!!
Has anyone experienced this before? Will it go away tomorrow after my SWF? :P I'm meeting our new VP next Monday and really don't want his first impression to be me with a big red rash all over my face - eeek!
I have been *itchy* over the past couple days but not on my face... arms, legs, tummy, etc. (I haven't been scratching my face.)

MoreThis is a reply to # 240,712My guess is that it will be gone by late today or tomorrow. I am on day 8, and remember a couple of days ago having a bumpy rash all over my chest. It couldn't have lastet very long, because before I knew it was gone.

Google AdvertisementThis is a reply to # 240,712Sounds like NO fun! My guess is it's detox. I had 3 monster bump/zits pop up on my face yesterday and they are virtually gone today. Hopefully if you can refrain from touching the rash it'll clear up quick. I'm a picker, so it would probably stay for weeks on my fact:-0

MoreThis is a reply to # 240,712I'm going to count on it being gone and won't scratch or pick! I'm guessing it's detox, too... but yesterday I did use a lot of witch hazel on my face b/c it was so oily - could be from that. :P

This is a reply to # 240,716I'm SO VERY itchy today - all over! I am keeping my hands off my face. Maybe I'm detoxing some allergies? (I'm still amazed I've been off my allergy prescription meds since last Thursday no problem!)

This is a reply to # 240,737It is no fun when one detoxes - but it really good for you and should pass in a day or so on this cleanse.
Be grateful that whatever it is is leaving your system!! You may have really great skina after it goes! Better than before.

This is a reply to # 240,751I have taken some form of allergy medication as long as I can remember... drixoral in high school and college, and sudafed for at least the last 4 years. Supplemented with flonase on an as needed basis, occasionally benedryl to sleep. I do often itch a lot from allergies. (or maybe toxins!) I switched to a prescription sudafed about 5 months ago.
The rash has gotten a little worse as the day has gone on, larger bumps but thankfully still not red. The rash itches a little but not near as much as the rest of my body - I'm itchy all over!
It's funny but I'm kind of glad to have some detox symptoms - visible ones. The book said they would come, everyone on here said they would come, and here they are! I was expecting it - but definitely hope they go away before Monday!
I have a little bit of an ache in my right knee today, too... LOL. Bring it on!
On my way to try my first drink with limes!

This is a reply to # 240,762I also had the rash on the chest, totally intolerable! just wanted to tear my skin off... I also take allergy meds, periactin and atarax, my dermatologist gave me a little tip, when you start to itch really bad, run a cold bath, put in 1 cup of baking soda, its tough to get yourself in it, since its so weird, but it actually takes the itch away for a while. Hope that helps.
