Blackstrap Molasses (unsulphured) is a wonderful way to get a dose of energy when your energy is flagging, and also, to ameliorate the acid reflux in the first week of detoxing from an acidic diet. It is a very alkalizing and nutritionally dense food. I can recommend taking it by mouth, a half-spoon or teaspoon at a time, or it can be added to some hot water as a tea. You will have to work on the taste factor since I usually spoon it myself. I averaged a spoon per day but one can have it more often especially if it will keep you from caving to some other temptation!
The lemonades are important of course, but also important is water. So often we are all under-hydrated. Thirst is a sign that you are already dehydrated, so it is more important to sip your water continually. Like you say, often, we are not used to this and so The Master Cleanse
provides an excellent opportunity to retrain our bodies to process more water.
I keep two glasses on my desk. One for lemonade, one for water. In my vehicle, I have made it a silly personal rule that if I am sitting at a red light, I am drinking a swig of water. The body uses water more efficiently too if it is sipped constantly, moreso than being gulped or chugged down.

to your water which makes it easier for your body to assimilate.
Over time you will develop a craving for water which will signify a shift by your body which is healthy...
