Is it okay to take a multi-vitamin/mineral/antioxidant if you have candida? IT IS NOT ONLY OKAY BUT NECESSARY TO DO SO IN ORDER TO DEAL WITH THE RELEASE OF TOXINS.
I've read that antioxidants aren't good if you have candida b/c they reduce the amount of oxygen in the intestines which creates the ideal environment for yeast b/c they are anaerobic. TO AUGMENT THE AMOUNT OF OXYGEN THERE IS NOTHING AS GOOD AS DAILY EXERCISE, A 20 MINUTES WALK WILL DO
Also, I can't find the post now, but I just read somewhere that B-vitamins aren't good for candida either. EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF VIT. B ARE NOT GOOD, YET YOU MUST SUPPLLEMENT 'MINIMALLY' BECAUSE CANDIDA DEPLETES VIT B. (3-6-12) SO NOT TOO MUCH BUT JUST ENOUGH. A BASIC MULTIVITAMIN QUANTITY SHOULD DO THE TRICK, BUT DO NOT EXCEED THAT
At the same time though, if you've had candida for awhile, wouldn't your unhealthy body need vitamins and minerals? THAT IS SO VERY TRUE. CANDIDA IMPAIRS ASSIMILATION AND DEPLETES B-VIT AND MAGNESIUM SO WE HAVE TO SUPPLEMENT
