Vitamin deficiencies are absolutely a possibility. I would be surprised if people w/ candidiasis DON'T have some sort of vit/min defs.
The spots after you look at a light are retina weakness. Common remedies are herbs Bilberry and Eyebright. Vit A is also essential in eye-related issues. Jhan, who posts here, highly recommends an herb, Medlar, found in traditional Chinese medicine doctors' arsenals. For this you might try in large cities where a Chinatown may have an herb shop. Or from a Chinese acupuncture office.
It would be worth looking into B vit defs for eye issues.
Candidiasis people usually have mineral deficiencies, esp. magnesium. Liquid forms of any of these are always better than tablets, as they are easier to absorb. Many symptoms can be attributed to Mg def.
