Colonix - Day 30 - Passing MP!!

Today is my last day on the 30 day Colonix bowel and parasite cleanse. I HATED this cleanse as it made me feel ill for the past three weeks - major detox/cleansing crisis on a daily basis. I attribute it to the tea as when I skipped the evening tea, I felt better the next day. I also only used the tea at their most minimum recommended dosage - I was never able to increase the steep time due to my negative reactions to it - 2 minutes was my maximum (they recommended 4-6 minutes steep time).
I took my last 4 Paranil capsules this morning. I will continue with the fiber for the next 5 days. I bought a 2nd 30 day kit, but given how poorly I have been feeling, I may just continue with the fiber and that's it. Anyone made it thru 60 days??
As I skipped the tea last night, I was unable to produce a bm this morning. This was the first time this has happened over the 30 day cleanse - I would normally go first thing in the morning. This afternoon I felt the urge to have a bm. The urge was SO strong, but nothing would come out. After a mighty struggle, I felt myself pass the bm. When I checked the toilet, there was nothing there. I looked down and there was this huge long piece of MP dangling and still attached to me. I pulled at it (with toilet paper!) and was amazed at what was coming out of me. It looked like a long necklace - or more like a charm braclet - long in one piece but with "charms" attached all up and down it. It was just freaky looking. Plus it came with the worst odor EVER - chase you out of the room bad odor. I thought I was done but had to sit back down as more came out. This was not a normal bm for sure. More of that muck/charm braclet looking stuff - very thin, dark and filled with attached "charms". Two hours have passed and I have that strong urge again so I am sure I will be passing this muck all night.
This is my 5th Bowel Cleanse and I have never passed anything that looked like this before, so this is a good thing. Should I continue with the fiber to attempt to pull more of this out of me? Should I continue with the Paranil or is the fiber alone enough to continue to clean me out (it has 12 grams of fiber per serving)? Until I pass 5 or more feet of this muck, I won't feel totally cleaned out. It took 5 Bowel Cleanses and a month on this high fiber dosage just to get this little bit out (I also add flax fiber to my superfood so I am getting an extra 9 grams on top of the 12 in the Colonix fiber). Your thoughts?

I have read all of your posts and am very interested in your thoughts. I only developed the severe constipation I have now AFTER using products with stimulant herbs (IF#1 to be exact). It is still a daily battle for me, as I am sure you can relate, to have a complete BM. I almost never do. I have colonics done but they are very expensive and I can only afford it maybe once a month. I take Triphala, which does help me to go daily, a little, but my BMs are still very incomplete and after 2-3 days I am bloated and in desparate need of a good movement. I take Oxypowder as a laxative only for relief when I need it. What are your thoughts on the bowel becoming laxative dependent? Given the stimulants in Colonix, I would fear that as soon as I came off of it, my initial problem would just be worse.
Now...with all that being said. I am getting so frustrated that I am almost at the point that I don't CARE if my bowel is dependent as long as I have relief. I want to do some major cleansing, starting with Colonix and working in some Liver Flushes (my first). My goal is to get my bowel clean enough that I can start liver flushing. I thought that flushing while I was on a product like Colonix was a good idea because it has the tea that keeps things moving. But after your reaction, I wondered if I could just forego the parasite cleanse and do the fiber shakes along with something like Smooth Move tea.
Any thoughts?

Andrea22 -- I'm butting in (oh! pardon the pun!!) b/c I noted that you use Oxypowder as a laxative when needed (you said).
I've been using oxy, and after the initial white-tongue-from-nowhere I am now doing really well from it.
Also, I just got a fresh supply today -- and the instructions are different! now they tell you to start with just 2 and add 2 more caps every night until you can poop three times a day. And then take that amount for your initial seven-day cleanse. And then figure out your maintenance schedule. It's still noted as non-habit forming.
I'm thinking it's so simple to use the Oxypowder , maybe you can come to terms with your insides this way and THEN move on to other products.
Remember to go at the speed your body is comfortable. (you might also try castor oil packs)

This is a reply to # 317,200Im butting in too!! Andrea, I was dependant on IF#1 (senna)for 3 years. I initially got off them by doing a month long oxypoweder cleanse. The colonix cleanse requires you to be on senna daily for 30 days. I would definitly not recommend such a harsh cleanse in your case given you have taken laxatives so much in the past. I personally would love to do the colonix, but just the fact that it has taken me months to go withour laxatives, I think going on them for a month again would NOT be wise at this point. Just a warning. That colonix cleanse is hard corp and could mess you up worse if you are not prepared.

Yes I guess my gut instinct was telling me not to do the colonix because I had been 'thinking about it' for a long time. I did give in last night and drank a cup of Smooth Move (which I ONLY use once a month if that). The Triphala keeps things moving but leaves me feeling VERY incomplete. I ordered more Oxypowder yesterday because I am going on a five day trip this Sunday, and vacations are the worst for me and my bowels :) I always wind up horribly constipated unless I use a laxative. I hope my Oxy comes in by Saturday!! I am going to try powdered flax seeds when I get back. I did notice a marked improvement in my BMs while I was on psyllium BUT my body couldn't handle the psyllium. I was horribly bloated the entire time and my body never did adjust, so I am going to try flaxseed when I get back. I tried Cascara last week, once just to try and move my bowels, and it did nothing...nothing and I took 450mg!! So, I guess if my Oxypowder doesn't come in, I will take along a few bags of the Smooth Move with me if I absolutely need it.

This is a reply to # 317,241Sounds like you are close to not needing the tea. I take 4-6 tablespoons of flaxseed everyday. I get TOTALLY stopped up even thinking about psyllium. Hate the stuff. Your plan sounds great.

I could never take the IF#1 as it gave me the runs - even with just one capsule. I hated the senna tea in the Colonix - it gave me headaches. I don't think the Oxypowder will make you dependent - they even recommend you can take it every other day permanently. I had such great success on that cleanse I may go back to their maintenance program for a while until I start feeling better.
I also find colonics expensive and take triphala and fiber capsules to help me have a bm. I didn't have to take those while on the Oxy.
I know the Colonix cleanse works great for many people - I am just not one of them. I found some of my other cleanses worked much better and didn't leave me feeling so poorly for the duration of the cleanse.

This is a reply to # 317,197That is awesome Raymond! I would just continue what you're doing now since it is working so well. Go with your gut feeling. By the way, you said you did 4 other Colon Cleanses before this one. Which ones did you do? So far I've done 2 and am probably due for another. The first one I did was CleanseSmart for a month and then I did the B&P shakes for 7 weeks in which I got lots of mucoid plaque.

I started off with the Renew Life CleanseSmart cleanse. I then did a month of P&B shakes, then Dr. Schulze 's Intestinal Formula #2, then the Oxypowder . I reacted to the Oxy the best and got my best results with it. It also made me feel great. I may go back on their maintenance program.
I didn't get any MP on the P&B shakes, but then again, I haven't passed much of that at all during any of my cleanses. I am hoping the Oxy liquified much of the MP during that cleanse.

This is a reply to # 317,286I passed a TON of these "charms". I take it this is a good thing that these are out of me now, correct? Does that mean I had a ton of pre-polyps? If so, that is not a good thing, but then again good that they are now out of me.

This is a reply to # 317,291yeah, those shapes could very well be molded by your intestines being that same shape! so keep up with the fiber, regular doses at the same hours each day, and maybe instead of the Paranil and Tea drink Aloe Vera Juice as a kind of "toner" to tighten up the intestines so it can start getting rid of areas of diverticulitis.

This is a reply to # 317,307You know, after 30 days on this cleanse, I feel NO different, no better, no improvement, etc. All their literature talks about people soaring with energy, feeling their best, etc. This has not happened to me. Perhaps because I have already done so many cleanses....I just don't know.
I do plan to continue with the fiber as it contains 12 grams and it is difficult to find one source of fiber with that much included. I will continue to take it at the same time each morning. I have a bottle of aloe vera juice here so I will definitely take it. Is it something I should take daily? I think it is a 4 oz. bottle. Or should I just take a tablespoon daily???

This is a reply to # 317,317aloe is good periodically, you don't necessarily want to take it EVERY day, but after anything happens that could compromise the integrity of the intestinal tissues, like losing a lot of mucoid placque or bad diarrhea, it helps to heal faster and retain shape, shrinking pores and blood vessals. Therapeutic doses are 1/2 cup 3x a day for about 3-4 days. Smaller doses are fine for just a bit of nutrition, immune system aid.
